1/2 placket means the buttons only go half way down the front of the shirt. The rest of the shirt is closed. 1/2 plackets are great if you work with "sticky outy" things that keep getting caught in between your buttons and ripping them off. Note you have to raise the shirt over your head to get it off. Regular collar. 1/2 closed placket. 2 cargo pockets with button flaps. Left pocket with pen division. Triple stitched seams.
