Inner cotton liner for comfort and coolness against your skin and extra cotton padding on the sole where you need it. (Socks with low cotton contents are cheaper to manufacture but they are less comfortable to wear because you feet overheat. You might be aware of this over heating as a burning feeling in the later part of the day. If you suffer this feeling please consider wearing socks made primarily of natural fibres such as wool or cotton or the more expensive and high tech breathable man-made fibres (not nylon).
